The WKF VIENNA REGIONAL ASSOCIATION presents the “Austrian rookie Championship” in boxing, for all Austrian women and men 0-5 fights.

From March 14 to 16, 2025, in the city of Tiraspol, at the base of the “Tiraspol SDYUSHOR of Wrestling and Boxing”, the international kickboxing tournament WKF “Best of the Best” was held in the sections K1, low kick, kick-light and light contact.
The competition was attended by 398 athletes from Belarus, Romania, Russia, Germany, Moldova, Hungary, Bulgaria, Italy, Gagauzia, Ukraine and Transnistria.
There were 138 fights in the ring and 148 on the tatami.

Sazonov Gennady Valerievich – Vice President of the ROO “National Federation of Kickboxing and Muay Thai”,
Alimov Rustam Baturovich – President of WKF Moldova, Vice President of WKF Word PRO,
Svider Igor – member of the executive committee of WKF European,
Mina Florin – Vice President of WKF European.
The competition was served by a panel of judges led by WKF Supervisor DERKACHENKO Ivan Vasilyevich, Minsk, Republic of Belarus, and senior tatami judge BAIBAR Igor, Shumen, Bulgaria.
Overall team standings:
1st place, sports club “Kickboxing Academy”, Tiraspol
2nd place, sports club “Garuda”, Chisinau
3rd place, sports club: Koltuk-gym, Chisinau.
The best fighter of the tournament: Chilei Alexey (Moldova, Tiraspol)!
The best judge of the ring – Markush Bela (Hungary)
The best judge of the tatami – Trofimov Ilya (Bulgaria)
Master Florin MINA, President of WKF-ROMANIA, and high respected WKF EUROPE Vice-president, announced the event in the City Iași in cooperation with organizer Narcis MANZAT
Miami is once again the place to be in the USA!
Two great US boxing champions, Efrain TORRES and Ade JONES, will meet in the ring. Lightweight – 132 LBS / 60 Kg

Spain was our host for the amazing last WKF World Championships 2024 in all disciplines. First time in co-operation with BOXING for male and females !
Mr. Juan PINILLA was the head of the organizing team in November 18th to 22nd, 2024.
In 2025 WKF promote with all local partners our “continentals” , on six continents !
For example European Championships in June in Moldova and Pan American Championships in Bucaramanga, Colombia, or African Cup in autumn!
World Championships 2026
Now the whole world will meet again in Cartagena, Colombia in autumn 2026 and many strong teams from: Europe, Latin America, North America, Australia, Asia and Africa will challenge our best Champions.
All our Worldwide WKF MEMBER countries are most welcome in Colombia! Take care for Visa in Time.
Many old national WKF associations have received new leadership and new strong WKF local associations from East and West have NEWLY joined!
Confirmed are WKF sanctioned World Cups in Minsk / BLR in September, Open European Cup in Mykolow / POL in October and World Cup in Bucaramanga / COL in November !!!
The next World Championships in 2028 is either in Asia or in Europe.
As usual in the WKF, this will be decided democratically at the next World Congress in Colombia in 2026

On the African continent October 18th to 24th, 2021

It’s a great pleasure and honor for me as officially nominated WKF Supervisor for the European Championships to welcome all of our members, male and female fighters, officials, VIP country presidents and supporters to our next European Championships in Chisinau.
It is interesting to see after the amazing World Championships in Spain 2024 how the World is getting even more closer and therefore, it is pleasing to see the European Championships in the wonderful and charming country Moldova.
The next World Championships 2026 will be in autumn in Cartagena, Colombia!
WKF head office expect again more than 30 countries from all over Europe in north and South, east and west!
WKF MOLDOVA President Rustam ALIMOV has already confirmed that the next European Championships in 2025 will take place in the historic city of Chisinau.
The first meetings with the mayor and local partners and sponsors have already taken place.

As always, the World Referee Seminar will be held in the main hotel on Saturday and Sunday 21/22 June.
