New WKF GREECE president: Annis DOMETIOU
Since January 1st we have a new member in the WKF world wide family.
Mr. Annis DOMETIOU is our new representative with all rights in WKF GREECE.
This step was necessary because the last President had to be dismissed for inactivity.Other new presidents of the WKF EUROPE will follow shortly. Because we only have active and very active presidents and country representatives in the WKF. We don’t have lazy guys!

BOXING – International GBF tournament in Innsbruck on April 22nd
In cooperation with the WKF TIROL regional association, our partner GBF AUSTRIA organizes an international amateur boxing tournament in the Leitgebhalle, Innsbruck.
For all men and women, from 16 to 35 years, with the required valid GBF license.
The tournament takes place at the same time, in the same hall as our WKF Austrian Open, but is an independent event.
Perfect for all teams that have boxing AND kickboxing athletes, female and male !
Pre-registration via e-mail is required!
News from WKF IRAN and WKF ASIA
Congratulations to one of the high ranking members of the WKF Asia/Iran Board of Directors, Dr. Hamid Azizi, for his new responsibility as the Special Member of the Executive Council of the Iran National Olympic Committee.
Dr. Azizi became an official member of the Asia/Iran WKF Board of Directors in 2012. He has since dedicated a considerable and productive amount of time and effort in organizing events such as the Grand Kish Island International WKF Title Championship, assisting the President of the WKF IRAN, and the Vice President of the International WKF, and the WKF International MMA Division Mr. Amir Mosadegh.
One of the highlights of the above mentioned event was the presence of the International WKF President, Grand Master Mr. Fritz EXENBERGER, WKF World president / CEO. World head Exciting update from WKF family:

Mr Amir Mosadegh also announced that, upon positive feedback received from Mr. Fritz EXENBERGER, the Magnificent Kish Island, and its vast athletic facilities, will be considered as a suitable location for further withholding internationally sanctioned tournaments…

“Sichuan Overseas Chinese Federation Youth Committee 2022 Annual Meeting” held in Mianyang
Overseas Chinese heart to the party, work hard. Young people walk together to build a dream for the future! The “2022 Annual Meeting of the Youth Committee of the Sichuan Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese” was held in Mianyang on December 9. This annual meeting is hosted by Sichuan Overseas Chinese Federation and organized by Mianyang Overseas Chinese Federation. Yang Fan, Secretary-General of the Sichuan Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese and Chairman of the Youth Committee of the Sichuan Provincial Federation of Returned Returned Overseas Chinese; Chen Fulin, Chairman of the Mianyang Federation of Returned Returned Overseas Chinese; Qian, Tan Renjun, Peng Xiaoxiao, Wang Qinjia, executive vice president of Mianyang Overseas Chinese Youth Association, and nearly 50 overseas Chinese youth representatives from all over Sichuan participated in the event.

La verdad tuvimos el honor de fiscalizar una gran cantidad de eventos entre noviembre y diciembre y me fue un tanto difícil entre los viajes y el trabajo en Buenos Aires poder hacer reseñas de cada uno, pero quisiera agradecer a los equipos de trabajo y a todos los organizadores.

GO combat event in Brazil
The 2nd GO Kombat took place on December 17th, in the city of Senador Canedo – Brazil.
The event, which had 10 fights, was organized by the Goiás kickboxing federation, and was supervised by CONKICK/WKF, in the person of official representative Wagner Stivi.
The main fight of the night, in the K1 86kg division, was won by KO in the 1st round by local athlete Jean Carlos GUIAMARES, who is already in the WKF world ranking and is preparing for important international disputes in 2023.
For the promoter of the event, Anderson Kiyoaki, this was a great opportunity to prepare the athletes and the organizing team for the big events that Brazil intends to host next year.
