It’s a great pleasure and honor for me as officially nominated WKF Supervisor for the European Championships to welcome all of our members, male and female fighters, officials, VIP country presidents and supporters to our next European Championships in Chisinau.

It is interesting to see after the amazing World Championships in Spain 2024 how the World is getting even more closer and therefore, it is pleasing to see the European Championships in the wonderful and charming country Moldova.

The next World Championships 2026 will be in autumn in Cartagena, Colombia!

WKF head office expect again more than 30 countries from all over Europe in north and South, east and west!

 

More than 1.000 competitors expected, in all WKF disciplines, Tatami, ring sport, BOXING and MMA.

WKF MOLDOVA President Rustam ALIMOV has already confirmed that the next European Championships in 2025 will take place in the historic city of Chisinau.

 

The first meetings with the mayor and local partners and sponsors have already taken place.

As always, the official list of the various hotels in all price ranges  is here online and will be sent to all our WKF EUROPE presidents by email.

As always, the World Referee Seminar will be held in the main hotel on Saturday and Sunday 21/22 June.

WKF MOLDOVA president Mr. Rustam ALIMOV is the host of the next WKF World referee seminar on June 21st / 22nd.

Venue is the amazing 4 star main Bernardazzi Grand Hotel in Chisinau.

This is the perfect weekend, just before the European Championships 2025 in Chisinau, Moldova. 

For the very first time our World referee seminar takes place in Chisinau.

We got already many requests from our male / female referees and officials from 6 continents and we hope everybody who would need Visa start in time at least 8 weeks before with Visa procedure.

All International WKF referees who not has attended the seminars in Wels 2022 , Triest 2023 or Alicante 2024 must extend their license in Chisinau. The extended license is valid for three Years again. Many photos from all WKF seminars since 2011 are here in the gallery!

Our new partner and WKF MALAYSIA president is Mr. CHEE Jian Kai.

He is former multiple World champion in many good federations.

Now he became important partner in our WKF world wide family.

Malyasia will in 2025 organise a World Cup in Kuala Lumpur, and prepare a huge team for the World Cups 2024 and the official World Championships in Cartagena, Colombia 2025.

Next change in BELGIUM

Mr. Christophe SELLIER is since 01.01.2025 our new WKF BELGIUM president with all rights.

Mr. Sellier is long time in our sport and a very serious business man with many good contacts.

He confirmed already a strong team for the upcoming European Championships in Chisinau, Moldova in June 22 to 29.

Next change in Leadership is in Armenia.

Mr. Artur ARSHAKYAN is president of Armenian BAMMA federation. Now also for WKF ARMENIA as well.

He is very experienced and long time Coach and respected referee. WKF family is happy to have this Expert in our team.

Mr. Arshakyan will also bring a team to the European Championships to Moldova in June.

New official representative and official confirmed chairman of the of the WKF BELARUS is Mr. Khmialkou Siarhei

in Russian: Хмельков Сергей Витальевич

He is General Director of the Republican Olympic Center and “Stayki”.

RCOT “Staiki” is a forge of talents for sports of the highest achievements. Many national teams and clubs have chosen this place for training and recuperation. At present, “Staiki” complex is the largest sports base in the country for the training of national teams of the Republic of Belarus for the European, World and Olympic Games in 20 different sports, and is also an excellent base for training athletes from other countries.
